The Cerro Cortaderas stands out in the Morado Valley, between the Loma Larga and the Punta Italia, because of its impressive size, color and admirable pyramidal summit. The multiple cliffs and buttresses of its South Face zeaolously guard this mountain, making it pretty inaccessible from that side. Its Northwest face instead, is surrounded by a great glacier which comes all the way down from the summit, thus providing an easy line up the mountain.
